Dux De Lux FC has been kicking a ball around central Christchurch for over four decades. Five teams across the men's and women's Sunday leagues, one clubroom, and a very good jug of beer waiting at Dux Central after every match.
At our peak we ran four men's teams and two women's teams across the Christchurch Sunday competitions. Today we're back up to five teams — four men's sides competing across the CSSL divisions, plus Ferrymead Bays Dux, a joint side with Ferrymead Bays, playing in the SIMG Sunday Womens competition.
Win, lose or draw, the whole club heads back to Dux Central after the final whistle. It's less a tradition and more the entire point.
